Mermaid, drawn on paper
About murm
A quiet place to write Mermaid and watch it draw. Everything stays in your browser, works offline, and exports on paper.
What it does
- Live preview The diagram redraws as you type. When a line won’t parse, murm marks it in the editor, says what went wrong in plain words, and keeps your last good drawing faded behind the note.
- A shelf of diagrams Create, rename, switch, and delete diagrams in one workspace. Start an empty one from a flowchart, sequence, class, state, entity, Gantt, pie, or mindmap example.
- Export and share PNG and SVG are always drawn on paper, so they read well in documents. Share links carry the whole diagram in the URL; JSON keeps a full project.
- Offline The app and your recent work still load when the connection drops, so you can keep editing.
Keyboard
- Tab ⇧ Tab Indent or outdent the selected lines. Press Esc first to leave the editor.
- ⌘ D Open your diagrams.
- ⌘ M Share and export.
- ⌘ + − 0 Zoom in, out, and fit. Hold ⌘ and scroll on the canvas to zoom there.
- F Focus the canvas and hide the editor.
